Our Litigation Software Reflects Our Trial Experience
Greg Krehel and Bob Wiss founded CaseSoft in 1995. CaseSoft is an outgrowth of Applied Litigation Research, a trial consulting firm that Greg and Bob formed in 1987. As they worked with Applied Litigation Research clients, Greg and Bob were struck by ideas for several litigation-specific software products. In 1993, Greg (having learned programming at IBM prior to becoming involved in trial consulting) coded the first prototype of the software product that has evolved into CaseMap.

Over the following two years, Greg and Bob demonstrated a series of prototypes to litigators and in-house counsel at firms across the United States. Inspired by the feedback they received, Greg and Bob launched CaseSoft, and hired the programmers, quality assurance staff, and technical writing staff needed to turn a rough prototype into a real product.
