The “Send to CaseMap” Plug-ins for Binder
We’ve created "Send to CaseMap" Plug-ins for Binder. There are two versions of Binder Plug-in: The first requires CaseMap 3.2 – CaseMap 4.0. The second, and more sophisticated, Binder Plug-in requires CaseMap 4.5 or higher.

Considerable development resources were expended developing these Plug-ins. They are free to those covered by CaseMap Support.

BINDER REQUIREMENTS: The Send to CaseMap Plug-ins for Binder require Binder 4.0 or higher from Reallegal (www.reallegal.com). Please note that the “Send to CaseMap” Plug-ins for Binder only work with the full version of Binder, not with the separate e-transcript files you may receive from court reporters.

Here's some of what the “Send to CaseMap” Plug-ins for Binder do:

As you work in Binder, you can select transcript text and send this text to a CaseMap case file as a new fact. In addition to sending the selected text to CaseMap, an entry is made in the new fact's Source(s) field. This source entry links the new fact back to the specific page and line in the Binder file. Later, as you view the fact in CaseMap, one click reopens the linked file in Binder and selects the proper section of the transcript.

The more sophisticated version of the Plug-in, which requires CaseMap 4.5 or higher, offers a number of important enhancements over our original Plug-in for Binder. For example, the enhanced Plug-in displays a CaseMap window directly in Binder making it easier to cull facts and enter details about them without having to switch back and forth between applications.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT: You must download and install the appropriate Binder Plug-in below. For this Plug-in to install correctly, Binder must already be installed on your system.

PLEASE PICK THE PROPER BINDER PLUG-IN FOR YOUR VERSION OF CASEMAP. If you’re unsure of your version of CaseMap, start CaseMap and look at the number in the Title Bar.
