We welcome you to download NoteMap 2 and check out the many new features. However, it is CRITICAL for you to understand that if you install NoteMap 2 on a machine that has NoteMap 1 on it, NoteMap 2 will replace the existing NoteMap 1 installation. Also, when you use NoteMap2 to open an existing NoteMap 1 file, the outline file will automatically convert to the new NoteMap 2 format and save in this format going forward.

Given the foregoing, please either (1) decide to purchase NoteMap 2 upgrades before installing on a machine that has NoteMap 1 on it or (2) install NoteMap 2 on a machine that does not have NoteMap 1 on it. All installations of NoteMap 2 work for 30 days before requiring activation for further use, so you can convert to NoteMap 2 before finalizing your upgrade purchase.
