We've given our report generation attention as well and you'll find that you can create robust reports more easily and with greater options than ever before. Here are the some of the new features in TextMap 5:

Exhibit Linking

With the new exhibit linking feature you now have an easy way to draw on key testimony and related exhibits at any time. This allows for easier comparison of testimony conducted at different times which may show discrepancies to help prove or disprove a case.

Because all your pertinent data is in one place you minimize disruption to your flow of thought and work. The linking is so easy you won’t know how you got along without it.

 Create PDF reports with embedded exhibits and documents 

Quickly and easily generate a report directly to a PDF retaining links to relevant evidence. The report can include your annotations, attorney notes, Q&A sets and even will include the associated electronic exhibits!

You'll find this allows you to leverage key issues and quickly retrieve the input of other team members. It will also reduce printing costs and help road warriors more easily review testimony.

Highlight and customize annotations in standard reports

One of the things we got asked to add to TextMap all the time was more highlighting capability. With Version 5 you have the ability to apply color highlights to all annotations in the transcript database or just the annotations linked to issues you select. You can flag important information for easy review by your litigation team or your client.

Now you can also customize your annotations in the reports. You can specify exactly which sections are included in the digest. This is most useful for creating a Digest Report of just page and line designations. You'll be able to easily comply with judge ordered requirements to submit designations of the pages and lines of testimony you plan to read at trial, while ensuring other testimony is not highlighted.

Work easily in transcripts offline with a utility that supports taking copies of linked exhibits and files offline with a replica.
